Two weeks after its official launch in Canada, Samsung Galaxy S Glide goes on sale for half the initial price. The Galaxy S Glide with Android 2.3 Gingerbread is now available for purchase via Rogers.

However, while the carrier offers the smartphone for as low as $149.99 (110 EUR) with a new three-year agreement, major retailer Future Shop is now selling the Galaxy S Glide at half price, $74.99 (55 EUR) on three-year term.

According to the folks over at MobileSyrup, this promotional offer will be available beginning tomorrow, but there’s no telling how long it might last.

It appears that Future Shop maintained the smartphone’s no term price, so customers who want to purchase the Galaxy S Glide without having to sign up for a long-term contract will need to shell out $549.99 (410 EUR).
