Rogers is the third Canadian major carrier that announces plans to release the new BlackBerry 7 smartphones launched by Research in Motion (RIM) earlier this week.

TELUS and Bell have also confirmed that they will carry RIM's latest smartphones, but have yet to announced the phones' prices and release dates.

In this regard, it looks like Rogers is the first to unveil the pricing options for the upcoming BlackBerry Bold 9900, Torch 9860 and 9810 devices.

BlackBerry Torch 9860, Rogers' first all-touch BlackBerry smartphone will be available for purchase for $199.99 with select three-year plans.

Furthermore, the Bold 9900 will be available for $249.99, while the Torch 9810 will be $199.99 with select three-year plans.

Unfortunately, the official information stops here, so we can only speculate when exactly these devices are released at Rogers.

Commenting on the subject, a Rogers spokesperson says “All three will be joining Rogers lineup this summer and all three are capable of 14.4 Mbps 4G download speeds.”

Powered by RIM's latest BlackBerry 7 operating system, all three smartphones feature a range of powerful hardware enhancements including a 1.2 GHz processor, HD video recording, 24-bit high resolution graphics, and advanced sensors enabling new augmented reality applications such as Wikitude.

In addition to supporting BlackBerry 7 OS, the new BlackBerry Torch 9810 comes with a medium-size 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display, as well as a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

The Torch 9810 packs 8GB of internal memory, 768 MB RAM, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), and sports a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording capabilities.

The BlackBerry Torch 9860 smartphone feature the largest touchscreen display ever embedded onto a BlackBerry smartphone.

The 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen displays are optimized for displaying web pages, photos, videos and powerful gaming experiences.
