Samsung has already started the rollout of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S III, but the upgrade has yet to be released in some regions.

With just two months left until the end of the year, Galaxy S III owners are probably wondering whether they will still get their promised Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update in the next weeks.

Well, there’s good news for Rogers customers who own Samsung Android phones as the carrier has just updated its OS upgrades scheduler with new release dates for three handsets: Galaxy S III, Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note.

The first smartphone to receive the hotly-anticipated Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update will be Samsung Galaxy S III. Rogers has just confirmed the popular device will get the long-awaited upgrade sometime this month.

The other two Samsung smartphones to receive a Jelly Bean upgrade, Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note, will get it in late December.

Check out below Rogers’ full OS upgrades scheduler for the rest of the year:

“Samsung Galaxy S III LTE (SGH-I747M) Jelly Bean (4.1) Late November Samsung Galaxy S II LTE (SGH-I727R) Jelly Bean (4.1) Late December Samsung Galaxy Note (SGH-I717R) Jelly Bean (4.1) Late December.”

Rogers does not plan to roll out any other major update for any of the smartphones in its portfolio, but most of the devices requiring an important upgrade already received it.

In this regard, Rogers already pushed through Ice Cream Sandwich for Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, as well as all Sony smartphones available at its online and retail stores, including Xperia arc S, Xperia arc, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro and Xperia ion.

In other news, Rogers is expected to release another Sony smartphone, the Xperia T, which is expected to hit shelves on November 14. The Galaxy Note II will arrive at Rogers in the following days as well.
