The smartphone might be compatible with Mobilicity and WIND Mobile

Canadian carrier Rogers has already started to ship the Nokia Lumia 920 to customers who pre-ordered the smartphone.

However, the device is only available in limited quantities, so it will take some time until all pre-orders are fulfilled.

The good news is that Rogers Nokia Lumia 920 comes unlocked and with pentaband support. The folks over at MobileSyrup report that several Lumia 920 users confirmed the smartphone as being compatible with WIND Mobile and Mobilicity networks.

Given the fact that Nokia Lumia 920 is exclusive to Rogers in Canada, there’s a small chance all units sold by the Canadian carrier will come unlocked.

We must assume that this is a temporary situation, as we doubt Rogers could make such a big mistake. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
