Canadian carrier Rogers has just announced it will soon launch two new LTE-enabled devices, the Sierra Wireless AirCard 330U of the LTE Rocket stick, as well as the Sierra Wireless Air-Card 763S LTE Rocket mobile hotspot.

Both devices have been rated by the carrier for maximum theoretical LTE download speeds of up to 100 Mbps. According to Rogers, these will be the first devices with support connectivity for both 17002100 MHz and the 2600 MHz spectrum, which are said to offer standard LTE download speeds of up to 40 Mbps.

Rogers confirmed that the Sierra Wireless AirCard 330U model of the LTE Rocket stick was expected to arrive in stores within the next few weeks, while the Sierra Wireless AirCard 763S LTE Rocket mobile hotspot would be available sometime this spring.

Customers who want to pre-order one of these LTE-enabled devices can do so via Rogers Online Reservation system. Both will be available for free on a three-year term.

Sierra Wireless AirCard 330U can also be purchased for $169.99 outright, whereas the Sierra Wireless AirCard 763S LTE hotspot can be acquired for no less than $199.99 off-contract.

In addition, Rogers announced it had adjusted some of its LTE pricing options for various plans, which would be available later this week.

While the carrier will continue to offer the LTE Introductory Plan of $52.93 for 10 GB/month on a three-year-term, it will also extend its range of 4G HSPA+ mobile internet plans to LTE models including the Flex Rate plan for Rocket stick and mobile hotspot starting from $22.93 per month and Flex Rate plans for tablets starting from $7.93 per month.

We are thrilled to offer Canada's fastest LTE devices on Canada's fastest and largest LTE network. We were the first to launch an LTE network in Canada and we have invested in the network technology that enables us to keep raising the bar for our customers to experience faster speeds, more devices and more LTE plan options,” said John Boynton, Rogers executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
