It appears that LG Optimus 3D units have already started to arrive at various Rogers stores and other retail locations, which confirms rumors about a possible launch before August 15th.

Even though the carrier has yet to announced the phone's exact release date, it appears that the guys over at MobileSyrup managed to put their hands on an internal Rogers document that reveals the Optimus 3D's pricing options.

As expected, Rogers doesn't want to give budget customers the smartphone unless they sign a new three-year agreement and receive the Optimus 3D for just $99.99.

Potential customers who prefer short term contracts will probably be disappointed by Rogers' offerings for the Optimus 3D: $374.99 with a new two-year contract, $424.99 with a new one-year agreement or $474.99 off-contract.

Furthermore, it appears that the $99.99 is promotional, which means that customer will have to sign up for a three year voice plan and three year data plan with minimum combined monthly service fee of $45.

According to Rogers, the Optimus 3D “allows you to enjoy a full 3D experience on mobile. Now you can record in real time, view and share in 3D. All in the palm of your hand. The LG Optimus 3D also goes beyond Dual Core processing with its unique Tri-Dual architecture which includes Dual Core, Dual Memory and Dual Channel.”

Equipped with a fast dual-core and dual channel ARM Cortex-A9 processor clocked at 1GHz and complemented by a PowerVR SGX540 GPU, the Optimus 3D is one of the fastest Android-based smartphones available on the market.

Furthermore, the Optimus 3D packs 512 MB RAM and 8 GB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

However, the phone's main attraction is the 4.3-inch 3D LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors and 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

The phone will be delivered with dual 5-megapixel stereoscopic 3D cameras, so users will be able to capture crystal-clear 3D images and record 720p HD 3D videos.

LG Optimus 3D is powered by Android 2.2 Froyo, but the manufacturer already stated that the phone would receive the Gingerbread update in October.
