LG kicked off the rollout of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for G2 internationally last week and owners in various countries have already been able to upgrade their smartphones to the latest version of Google’s operating system.

Well, it appears that Canadians will be able to update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat as well, but not earlier than March 25, according to Rogers.

As MobileSyrup points out, the Canadian carrier has recently confirmed that the long-awaited update for LG G2 will finally arrive tomorrow, March 25.

Although Rogers’ OS Upgrades scheduler contains only estimates that are subject to change, there’s only a slim chance that this update will be pushed back due to the fact that the carrier was pretty exact with the release date.

More details on the changes included in the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for LG G2 will probably be available tomorrow, when the Canadian carrier pushes the update live.

On a side note, Rogers has also confirmed that Sony Xperia Z1 will also receive the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update, but no exact release date has been unveiled.

For the time being, the upgrade has been tagged with the “Coming Soon” status, but we will keep an eye out for any additional change, so stay tuned.
