Yet another proof of commitment from Rod Stewart: preparing for the birth of his child with Penny Lancaster, there is no measure he hasn't taken to make things safe and easy.
Stewart has hired a helicopter to make sure he will be by Penny's side when delivering, as he is to have a concert in the same period.
He also plans on taking paternity leave for a year, after the baby's arrival.
And, last but not least, he has attended emergency birth classes, to help his fiance in case she can't get to hospital in time.
The new born will be Stewart's sixth child. The singer already has five more children with former wives Alana Stewart and Rachel Hunter, and former girlfriend Kelly Emberg. For Penny Lancaster, the newborn would be her first.
They will call the baby Jimmy or Charlie if it is a boy, and Isabella or Amelia, if it will be a girl.
If a boy, the baby's middle name will be Wallace, after Penny's grandfather, who died in a car accident in January 2003.
Penny is sure the baby will be a boy. She told Britain's 'This Morning' chat show: "Everyone looks at me and says: 'You're having a boy!'" .
