Thirty years after the release of Rod Stewart's hit album "Atlantic Crossing," the singer and fiance Penny Lancaster recently traversed the Atlantic Ocean onboard Queen Mary 2, the only ocean liner with regularly scheduled transatlantic service.
Stewart didn't perform "Sailing," or any of his iconic songs, but instead the couple were
fully pampered by the ship's renowned White Star Service(SM) staff and exclusive Queens Grill accommodations.
Tuesday, Stewart appeared on court in Las Vegas to "defend his honour" in a breach of contract lawsuit filed by one of the city's resorts, Harrah's Entertainment
Stewart, 60, cancelled a concert in 2000 which was supposed to take place at The Rio hotel-casino owned by gambling giant, while recovering from thyroid cancer surgery, after he pocketed more than US$2 million for it.
