It's now a common practice among female celebrities to have their breasts enlarged by means of a surgical intervention, so the fact that Rod Stewart's daughter did it shouldn't come as no surprise to anyone.

But it does come as a surprise to hear a dad talk about his daughter's boobs as being 'a lovely pair', some might say.

Rod Stewart has seven children from four different women but probably the most famous of them is Kimberly, who has made newspapers headlines for being both pretty and flat-chested.

A while ago, Kim decided to get implants to boost her self confidence and, according to daddy, they did help her feel better in her own skin. In a recent interview, Rod commented in a very Joe Simpson-esque manner: 'One of my daughters was a bit flat-chested so she had implants. She's got a lovely pair now. Nothing wrong with it, I reckon, if it does wonders for a girl's confidence'.

For those who are not familiar with the story, Joe Simpson, Jessica and Ashley's dad, is also famous for his ill-fated and completely uninspired comments on the eldest daughter's breasts, like 'You can't cover those suckers up!' and 'She's got double Ds!'.
