Rod Stewart Hires A Helicopter to Be Present at His Child's Birth

Penny Lancaster, Rod Stewart's fianc�e, is due to give birth to their first child in December this year.
In the same period, Rod Stewart will be performing in Newcastle, England.

The 60-years-old singer is so concerned about missing the birth of his sixth child, that he has made arrangements for a helicopter to standby near the stage, ready to leave just in case.
Penny Lancasters declared: "Rod has made arrangements to cut the show short if needs to be."

Stewart already has five children: Kimberly, Sean, Ruby, Renee, and Liam McAlister. Kimberly Stewart and Sean were born to Alana Stewart (ex-wife of actor George Hamilton), Ruby was born to Kelly Emberg, his girlfriend at the time, while Renee and Liam McAlister were born to his ex wife, model Rachel Hunter.

Under the influence of religious model Penny Lancaster, Rod Stewart found God.
He has also declared that the 9/11 events had an effect on him.
"After the tragedy we began going to church a lot", Rod confessed.
