Rockstar Games has no plans of attending E3 2012 next month, as a new report that has surfaced claims that the company doesn’t want to show off Grand Theft Auto V, its next big game, at the large expo.

While there are plenty of impressive games set to appear this year, Rockstar’s GTA V looms above them all, even if nobody knows anything about it, not even a release date.

Still, in between rumors and speculation, many fans are hoping that Rockstar will show off the new Grand Theft Auto title at E3 2012, the big gaming convention that takes place next week in Los Angeles.

According to CVG, which cites inside sources, the company won’t even attend the expo, as Rockstar plans on unveiling details about GTA V when it feels the time is right.

As such, fans should forget about getting a chance to play the open world game at the large convention.

This isn’t official just yet, so nobody knows if GTA V will actually be showed to the public in Los Angeles but, given the fact that Rockstar hasn’t participated in other E3s in the past, it’s highly unlikely.
