The team at Rockstar is still putting the finishing touches on the PC release of Grand Theft Auto V, but the company can now confirm that it has no plans to delay any patches for the title on the new platform.

John Macpherson, one of the leaders of the gameplay design team, is telling Gamespot that "We plan to deliver updates to PC and consoles simultaneously. There can be occasional variations in timing based on specifics from one console to another, but PC will not be on a separate timetable to other platforms."

This is great news for the community that wants to enjoy GTA V on the PC and had to wait for a long time for the game to make the move from consoles to their devices.

The developer also says that the extra development time was required because Rockstar wanted to make the experience the best it could be on all types of hardware.

This process has involved both members of the core GTA V development team and the best PC developers from a number of company studios.

The team at Rockstar considers the new incarnation of the open world title the ultimate version and believes that fans will be impressed with the kind of experience they’ll get.

Grand Theft Auto V will continue to get content

On the PC, the game will include improved textures, more pedestrians and cars on the roads, and a range of new audio content.

Rockstar says that it is aiming to improve the GTA V experience on all platforms with more patches in the coming months.

For the Online multiplayer component, gamers will also get more tools in order to create their missions, which can be shared with the rest of the community.

There are also new Rockstar-made content drops that will be introduced before the end of the year.

Since last year, rumors have been suggesting that a new single-player expansion for GTA V will be revealed during summer, possibly during E3 2015.

It is designed to open up more story missions for gamers, which will focus on a new character and will also introduce vehicles for the player to use and extra weaponry to take out enemies.
