Rockstar Brings Games to Steam

- The full catalog of games is available for download now

By: Calin Ciabai, Games Editor

Rockstar Games and Valve have announced the launch of the Rockstar full game library of PC games on Steam. This means that any titles produced by the developers can be purchased online, with a very special offer being available until the 11th of January: a 10% discount for any title
bought.

Both sides involved in this deal declared that they are very happy about this, as Rowan Hajaj, Head of Finance and Corporate Development of Rockstar Games said: "We were immediately excited by the opportunity to offer our PC catalog via Steam because it allows us to reach out to gamers around the world in exciting new ways. We are continually looking for ways to give back to our fans and this collaboration will give people a chance to easily revisit some of our greatest titles".

From Valve's side, Jason Holtman, director of Steam business development said: "Rockstar Games brings some of most viscerally engaging games the industry has ever witnessed to Steam's expansive library of titles. We're delighted to provide a place where gamers across the globe can discover all the fine work Rockstar Games has produced."

Here are the Rockstar games you may purchase now via Steam:

- Grand Theft Auto Collection (including all the already released GTA titles)
- GTA 3
- GTA: Vice City
- GTA: San Andreas
- Max Payne
- Max Payne Bundle
- Max Payne 2
- Manhunt
- Midnight Club II

And, for those who would like all these games for a better price, the Rockstar Collection is available, also and it includes all the games listed above plus the game Wild Metal. And that costs just $53.95.

With this recently signed deal, Rockstar makes sure that they have a better coverage around the world and their profits are going to record a little boost, probably. Now we can only wait and see if one of the most wanted titles from Rockstar and maybe one of the most expected games of the year – GTA IV – will be available on Steam, too. Manhunt 2 anyone?
