Rockstar Games, the famous video games studio, has announced that Grand Theft Auto III will be making its way onto A5-enabled Apple devices this fall.GTA III was launched 10 years ago, this month. The open-world action game took the world by storm, and gained immense notoriety. The title was also subject to much controversy.
Now, to commemorate the game’s 10th anniversary, Rockstar is proud to announce that “Grand Theft Auto III will be coming to select new generation iOS and Android devices later this fall.”
Only the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 will be supported from Apple’s lineup, meaning GTA III will require the A5 chip housed inside. Rockstar says that more devices will be announced.
The studio took this opportunity to also announce a limited-edition action figure of lead character Claude. Created by Sideshow, a collectible manufacturer, the toy will be available for pre-order in limited quantities at the Rockstar Warehouse.
