The development team at Ubisoft working on the 2014 version of Rocksmith announces that all those who have already purchased a previous version of the game will be able to use the cable they already own to link their PC or console to the guitar they will use to practice.

Players who love rock music will also be able to import all the songs from downloadable content packs they have purchased before and tracks from the original disk can also be used.

This version of Rocksmith introduces a new and improved teaching mode and players who already own songs will be able to improve their technique faster.

The 2014 version of the game and teaching tool will be out on the PlayStation 3 from Sony, the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PC in October.

An instrument bundle will be offered for those who want to learn to play it without having any previous experience.
