If you’re a Windows 8 adopter, chances are that you’ve already installed some of the games released by Microsoft Studios for this particular platform, including the popular Rocket Riot 3D.

The 8-bit game has recently received a new version and, although the official release notes posted in the Store do not reveal any changes, Rocket Riot 3D most likely works a bit more smoothly following the update.

It comes with more than 100 single-player missions, but also with 200 characters that need to be unlocked by every gamer. 24 levels are exclusive to Windows 8 users, who can play the game using the touch support, mouse or keyboard controls or with an USB Xbox controller.

The game can be installed on Windows RT tablets as well, so you can enjoy a seamless gaming experience on every Windows 8 platform.
