As the release date for Tony Hawk's Project 8 was set for November 7,
Activision recently revealed the tracklist for the upcoming skating game.
Pro-skaters like Bob Burnquist, Dustin Dollin, Nyjah Huston, Bam Margera, Rodney Mullen, Ryan Sheckler and, of
course, Tony Hawk himself will be sliding rims listening to bands like Kasabian, Ministry, Gnarls Barkley and much, much more.
According to Tim Riley, worldwide executive of music at
Activision, his company tried to adapt the music of the game to the rebellious attitude and high energy of skating culture. The tracks present in Tony Hawk's Project 8 vary from punk rock to hip-hop and metal, all the genres liked by skaters everywhere.
The most famous artists that will be present in Tony Hawk's Project 8 will be: new soul artist Gnarls Barkley, classic R&B band Kool and the Gang, metal legends Nine Inch Nails and trash icon Slayer.
New upcoming bands will be given a chance to shine too, bands not so well-known like Aurelius, Charizma &PB Wolf, Jaylib, Legitimate Business, Supersuckers and The Sword will have one of their songs featured on Tony Hawk's Project 8 soundtrack.
