There's a new DLC coming to Rock Band next week and it brings even more songs. The pack includes three tracks from both The Raconteurs and Electric Six. The latter's famous “Gay Bar” is included, so prepare to drop your prejudice and jam along on this totally addictive song. Among other artists included in the pack is also Alanis Morissette. The song bundles will be available for $5.49 or 440 Microsoft points each, while the tracks on their own will be $1.99 or 160 Microsoft points and 200 Wii Points.

The DLC will be available tomorrow, October 6, for the Xbox 360 and Wii and the day after for the PlayStation 3. The complete song list is as follows: "Salute Your Solution," "Steady, As She Goes" and "Many Shades of Black" by The Raconteurs, "Gay Bar," "I Don't Like You" and "Dance Epidemic" by Electric Six, "Head Over Feet" and "Ironic" by Alanis Morissette and last but not least, "Handlebars" by The Flobots.

Another bundle will be delivered to the Rock Band Unplugged on the PSP for $1.99 per song. "Red Barchetta" from Rush's Moving Pictures and "Know Your Enemy" by Green Day will be ready for gamers everywhere on October 8. This is but one of the many pieces of DLC available for Rock Band and there's no end in sight as the list continues to grow and grow.

Rock Band, developed by Harmonix Music Systems and published by Electronic Arts Studios, is a rhythm game that acts as direct competitor for the big Guitar Hero. Its first installment was back in November 20, 2007, and the latest one, Beatles Rock Band, did incredibly with both the critics and the fans. The game makes use of the special controller that the Guitar Hero series first put to use, the plastic guitar, enabling players to perform either the bass guitar or the lead guitar chords, but also uses other controllers. Rock Band offers gamers the possibility to perform the drums part of the songs and is also compatible with a USB microphone. All in all, it's the party game where everyone can get in on the action.
