Given the fact that CeBIT is a very good opportunity for gaming accessories' manufacturers to roll out their latest products, that's exactly what the people over at Roccat decided to do as well and introduced the Isku Illuminated Gaming Keyboard with ROCCAT Talk Technology.

Over time, Roccat has managed to come up with quite an impressive array of products targeting gamers in particular, and that's exactly the category the Isku goes for as well, sporting all sorts of advanced features meant to improve the overall quality of one's gaming experience.

One such feature is the EasyShift[+], that enables users to assign a much larger number of pre-set macros to the keyboard, enabling a higher level of control and faster response time while playing PC games.

Practically, the entire keyboard is divided into various zones, enabling up to 36 macro functions positioned in a very intuitive manner around the WASD area, that offer up to a total of 180 directly executable functions, that can be saved in 5 profiles.

Without a doubt, one of the coolest features the Isku has to offer is the built-in ROCCAT Talk protocol, that enables users to actually share commands between the keyboard and the mouse.

In fact, by implementing this protocol, ROCCAT enables gamers to configure one single EasyShift[+] key or button for both the mouse and keyboard, thus further enhancing response speeds.

Furthermore, the Isku keyboard from Roccat also makes the macro assignment process a breeze, via its built-in Macro Live! Recording button, that, once pressed, automatically saves the in-game actions, users being then able to easily assign them to a certain key combo.

According to ROCCAT, their Isku – Illuminated Gaming Keyboard is set to hit the shelves over Q2, 2011, the MSRP being set at an estimate 79.99 Euro, which is quite a good price point, given the gaming peripheral's features.
