Peripherals are nifty things, and while keyboard started out as the only way to control a PC, the mouse matched it, and some would say supplanted it, within months of its initial invention.

It's no wonder that there's a whole industry revolving around them. Mice, I mean. Like the one that Roccat has just launched.

We're looking at one of the fancier peripherals out there, called Kone Pure Military and available in Camo Charge, Naval Storm, Desert Strike and other color combos.

That's just for the plastic shell of course. The LED-based lighting system within the mouse can be configured to any one of 16.8 million colors. Those are the hues achievable by combining red, green and blue light, like in displays.

The Roccat Kone Pure Military has a 500 DPI Pro-Optic sensor (one of the best optical ones in the world) and an Adjustable Control Unit for lift control.

You can buy the Roccat Kone Pure Military mouse with or without a color-matching Sense Military Mousepad. The mouse itself bears a price of $70 / €70, while the mousepad ships for $20 / €20. Well, exchange rates say the EU prices are of €51 and €14.67, respectively, but we all know how seldom they reflect reality when it comes to price conversions.
