Robot Roller-Derby Disco Dodgeball, a game developed by Erik Asmussen and published by 82 Apps, has arrives on the Linux platform.

If you think that the name of the game, Robot Roller-Derby Disco Dodgeball, points towards a crazy game, then you are probably correct. Robot Roller-Derby Disco Dodgeball is still in the development stages, but that should stop you from buying it.

According to its developers, this “is a vibrant multiplayer futuresport where you race around a skate park / dance club in jet-powered robots and try to hit each other with exploding dodgeballs. Its focus on skillful roller-skate movement and physics-based projectile warfare make it one of the most intensely fun and satisfying FPS experiences since the Robocalypse of 2742.”

The Linux system requirements are somewhat sketchy and don't mention a video card: a 64-bit or 32-bit Ubuntu Linux, 2 GB of RAM, and 200 MB of available HDD space.

Because Robot Roller-Derby Disco Dodgeball has just landed on Steam, the developers are also offering the game at a 15% discount. Users can also purchase the Four Pack version for you and your friends.

More details about Robot Roller-Derby Disco Dodgeball can be found on the Steam website.
