Robosapien's Cousin RoboBoa Boogies to Your Music and Scans for Intruders!

Hey everybody! Look, it's Roboboa! "Who?!?!". It is the "perfect combination between a robot, an alarm clock, a desktop reading light and a cut pet snake in the same device". Remember Mark Tilden and WowWee? They're known for the famous Robosapien and the Animal Planet Animaltronics toys.

RoboSapien, as the advert for it says, is "The robot that thinks it's a human!". The toy was capable of walking, having no wheels as feet, as well as grasping objects with either of its hands, and was also able to throw grasped objects with mild force. It came equipped with a small loudspeaker unit, which could broadcast several different vocalizations, all of which appear to be recordings of a human male pretending to be a great ape, such as a gorilla.

Roboboa, on the other hand, combines A.I. Animation with lights, motion and sound. The robot is a smart desk light, wake-up alarm, strafing room alarm, roving tank, disco animal with alien personality.
It features no less than 41 functions and with the included remote you can easily choose and switch between a large selection of modes.

Roboboa is quite curious and it responds to all the objects he sees. And if it detects something, it will scan the entire room to find out what it is. The integrated "party mode" makes the cute robot move to your music and with the built-in audio jack it can even boogie to your own portable music player.

Besides that, it can track and shed light on anything it moves in its adaptive vision. With the embedded super shooter, RoboBoa's laser machine gun acts like a real alarm and shoots out secret codes to trigger some other WowWee Robots. It can respond to the changes of lights in the environment and with its IR radar technology it can track the things that are in a range of 12 feet. Its facelights turn on in the dark and fade in the light.

The user can put the robot into Sleep mode, and the programming and settings will be remembered. And there are even more options integrated in the robo-pet. And hey, it's not even that expensive, since you can have one for 220 bucks from online retailers.
