After all the development turbulences, which are also visible in their Twitter stream, RoboForm has announced that you can now safely update your software to version 7.6.0.

I guess they had to close this development cycle the way they started it, by warning users to revert to the previous version.

First they announced that version 7.5.9 was available and paying users jumped to the update hoping their issues with the app would disappear. However, two tweets later users were advised in CAPS not to update to the latest version; and the next message brought a fix (downgrade) for those that already made their move.

Even if they incremented the version number to 7.6.0, the changelog remains unchanged from what they made public for the troublesome 7.5.9 version. You can check out the modifications on this page.

Update: Siber Systems just incremented the version number for RoboForm to 7.6.1.
