New version should work with the latest Firefox stable release

A new update has been released for RoboForm web form filling utility. Version 7.9.0 of the application does not introduce new features but focuses on fixing various glitches affecting the functionality and usability of the product.

The previous release of the application had trouble running with the freshly launched Firefox 22; with the new build this should no longer be the case. Another issue fixed is the blinking of the AutoFill window in Mozilla’s browser on some websites.

On Chrome, the same component would sometimes appear even if there were no visible fields to fill.

The developer announced that they integrated fixes for server-based components in the case of RoboForm Lite, and that connect and disconnect operations during Sync and MRU synchronization have been reduced.

Furthermore, the virtual keyboard should now close after switching to another window and, in the case of the 64-bit version of the application, security has been improved by adding DEP and ASLR. The full set of modifications for this release is available here.
