Robin Williams, Bill Cosby, Danny Glover and many other celebrities criticized American President George Bush for his lack of response regarding the Louisiana tragedy.
Invited at New York's Higher Ground benefit on Saturday, the celebrities mocked George Bush for the way he handled the tragedy from Gulf Coast region.
Actor and comedian Robin Williams appeared on stage imitating a hurricane and told the people gathered for the event that he's planning to go to Bush's home in Kennebunkport, Maine, to "see if they respond any quicker".
Comedian Bill Cosby said, "The people who got into office forgot about the people."
Film director and actor Glover said, "When the hurricane struck, it did not turn the region into a Third World country - it revealed one," while American calypso musician Belafonte added, "Katrina was not unforeseeable. It was the result of a political structure that abdicates its responsibility".
