Video game developer Blizzard has listened to the requests of their fan base and a special tribute character based on Robin Williams, who has recently died, has been created for World of Warcraft, although it is unclear when he might be introduced in the MMO.

Wowhead has datamined the files of the title in order to uncover an image of the coming NPC and some of the sounds that it will use when it is introduced.

The name seems to be Robin the Entertainer and his location in Azeroth is at the moment unknown.

Blizzard has not offered any comments on the information revealed about the Robin Williams character.

He might be added via the coming patch, which will accompany the launch of the Warlords of Draenor expansion for the game.

Robin Williams was known for his video game passion and has even named his daughter Zelda.

It’s unclear how his family will react to this unusual tribute from the gaming community.

Warlords of Draenor will be launched on November 13 of this year and is designed to introduce a range of new areas and raids to the MMO, with players able to explore the ancient lands of the Orcs and battle some very powerful characters.
