It came as a complete shock to everyone when it emerged on August 11 that beloved comedic actor Robin Williams had committed suicide in his home. People struggled to understand how a man who brought millions of people so much joy could have come to such a tragic self-inflicted end.

Today, months after his passing, the coroner's full report has been released by TMZ and it offers some insight on the actor's final moments. The doctor's report concludes that Williams was struggling with Parkinson's, anxiety and depression when he committed suicide by hanging himself in the bedroom of his home.

The actor was also suffering from paranoia apart from depression and Parkinson's

Apart from the paranoia, every other symptom was known. His depression has been well documented for years and he himself admitted that he had been battling with its devastating effects for a long time. The Parkinson's was a late onset, and it was his wife who told the media that he was taking medication to treat the early signs of the disease.

It turns out that it was paranoia that caused him to put several of his expensive wristwatches in a sock and give them to someone for safe keeping the night before he committed suicide because he was afraid they would get stolen.

The doctor's report goes on to say that Williams had 4 drugs in his system at the time of death, 2 of which were anti-depressants and the other 2 were caffeine compounds. It also adds that Williams had no traces of alcohol in his blood at the time of his death, disproving rumors that he was drunk when he killed himself.

The actor had been researching medication on his tablet at the time of death

His wife told the police that, the night before Robin died, she saw him grabbing his iPad from their closet, which she considered to be a good sign since it had been months since he had watched a movie or read a book due to his depression.

The police found out that he had opened several browser tabs on his tablet and had visited some websites discussing medication like Lyrica and propanolol that treat blood pressure and tremors.

The actor’s wife indicated that he was also receiving treatment for severe depression at the time of his death, as well as medication for the early stages of Parkinson's. The report also mentions Williams had experienced the first signs of the disease in 2011 and they consisted in a tremor of his left arm and the slowing of movement in his left hand.
