It looks like crying, singing and pleading didn't convince Paula in the end

It's impossible to have missed Robin Thicke's musical campaign to win back estranged wife Paula Patton after she filed for divorce because he let his rock star fantasy mix with real life. After months of speculation as to whether Paula would eventually have him back, we now have proof the divorce is on.

TMZ reports that the couple's posh mansion has been put up for sale and this, they claim, is the “final nail” in Robin's marriage to Paula, who apparently got fed up with all the groveling and serenading at every performance and decided to kick him to the curb.

The home was listed at the beginning of the week for a little under three million dollars, which comes in at roughly two million euro. The sum isn't something to scoff at, especially since it was bought for the “measly” sum of a little less under one million back in 1990, by Robin's father, Alan.

The house is now officially owned by Robin, who signed his name on the deed, but although the home is on the market, it seems that neither Robin nor Paula has actually moved out.

Meanwhile, Robin has been fighting this divorce kicking and screaming, or, better yet, kicking and singing. He even devoted his new album to actress Paula Patton, and called it “Paula.” It includes a couple of suggestive songs such as “Get Her Back” and “Lost Without You.”

The trouble is that, at first, Paula seemed to be in a forgetful mood, and the press speculated that she would eventually take him back. The initial divorce announcement was postponed, and the couple merely separated, seemingly trying to work things out for the best interest of their child.

Paula spoke of forgiving on her social media, and Robin was spurred on to continue his constant wave of apologies during his concerts and performances. In fact, in the months after the split was announced, it was hard to see a Robin Thicke performance where he didn't speak about Paula, cried on stage, or asked the audience to “help him get her back.”

Paula and Robin had been a couple since highschool and nothing seemed to be able to break their love.

It took several incriminating photos of Thicke to prove to Paula that he liked to fool around, and then it all blew up when Robin performed his raunchy tune at last year's VMA Awards together with Miley Cyrus, who didn't hesitate to twerk on him and grab his crotch on stage, all in the name of “art.”
