Robert Rodriguez is currently shooting “Machete Kills,” the sequel to his well-received 2010 “Machete” film, which, in turn, was inspired by a faux-trailer he included in “Grindhouse.” He has a new addition to the cast he's just dying to show off.
And that is Lady Gaga herself. Above is a poster for the film Rodriguez himself tweeted.
“I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills , she kicked SO MUCH [expletive]! Holy Smokes. Blown away!” the director enthused on his Twitter.
Clearly, he's aiming to bring even more stars on board than he had the first time around.
Besides the regulars Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez and Jessica Alba, Rodriguez recently added Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, Amber Heard, Sofia Vergara, Zoe Saldana and, now, Gaga.
She will be La Chameleon, but Rodriguez offers no indication as to who that might be.
“Machete Kills” opens in 2013.
