Nothing must be more important than to listen to the writer of Stairway to Heaven, tonight at the iTunes Festival. Robert Plant is coming up on the stage at the London's Roundhouse for an unforgettable show.

First week of iTunes Festival is over and we have already seen some great performances. Big names like Beck, Tony Bennett, Kasabian and DJs like David Guetta, deadmau5, and Calvin Harris have shown the entire world that they can be there for their fans in London and all over the world via iTunes and Apple TV.

Folk music before the big show

Monday night we're going back to the roots of rock music and the first one to go on stage is Luke Sital-Singh. He is an indie folk singer and songwriter raised in southwest London. His first EP, Fail for You, was released back in 2012. After that he got out two more EPs and an album.

Luke Sital-Singh will start his performance at 6:45pm GMT. He will be followed by Robert Plant, at 8pm GMT.

Stairway to rock music heaven

If you know your music, you have to know and love Robert Plant. The English musician, singer and songwriter got famous after his career at the helm of the rock band Led Zeppelin. After that, he started a solo career that is still going on after 40 years.

Plant has received the rank of Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire and has been voted the "Greatest Metal Vocalist of All Time and the "Greatest Voice in Rock." His music influenced singers like Freddie Mercury or Axl Rose.

Robert Plant joined Jimmy Page to form Led Zeppelin in 1968 and went on to create musical masterpieces like "Stairway to Heaven" and "Kashmir." The first one has never been released as a single, but the song was voted the greatest of all times.

In 1982, Robert Plant started his solo career after Led Zeppelin dissolved. That didn't stop him to release over 17 albums and EPs and 11 Live Albums. His latest, "lullaby and... The Ceaseless Roar" will be released tomorrow, September 9.

On his iTunes page for the festival, you can listen to previews of all his best songs, buy the albums, watch three movies about him and get two of the books about Robert Plant.
