Robert Pattinson on ‘Breaking Dawn’ Photo Leak: Who Did This Is an Idiot

Robert Pattinson is responding to the leak of several photos and footage from the upcoming “Breaking Dawn Part 1” film, saying that whoever did this is a mean idiot and certainly not a fan.

As we also reported at the time, lots of material from the next “Twilight” installment ended up online. The damage was all the more important since the shots were from key scenes from the film, such as the wedding day, the wedding night and Bella’s transformation.

Author Stephenie Meyer has already responded to the leak, urging fans to stop spreading the photos and, should more come out, to refuse to give in to curiosity.

Pattinson, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the films, is a bit more direct: who did this is not a fan, but an idiot who acted out of maliciousness.

“It’s just ridiculous. I literally can’t believe that it happened,” Pattinson says in an interview with MTV News, cited by the British publication Metro.

“I want the Twilight troops to mobilize, all the good fans, and find out who these little [expletive]s are and just hack into their computers and destroy them. I’m being genuinely serious, Twilight fans, punish them,” Pattinson urged.

“Why do this maliciously? You’re not a fan. You’re just a [douchebag],” he adds.

In an interview for PopSugar to promote his latest film, “Water for Elephants,” (see the video below), Robert had the same reaction to the leak, saying that it doesn’t even reflect what fans will see in the film, the final product.

There too he joked about having Twi-hards find the person responsible for the leak and to “destroy” them.

“It got leaked by some annoying person. Oh, that’s right, I keep forgetting that I’ve got to put a little message out there. If any of the Twilight fans out there know who leaked it, kill them. Destroy them. And also, find out who hacked my email address,” Pattinson joked.
