It could be fan-made

The second film in the newly-renamed “Twilight Saga,” “New Moon,” doesn’t drop until November 20, but it seems that Summit Entertainment has already started the promo campaign for it. The first poster for “New Moon,” showing hottie Robert Pattinson, has just hit the net – the only thing that still has to be established at this point is whether it is the real deal or just a fan-made fake.

The poster shows Pattinson wearing an unbuttoned coat, and staring “solemnly” down and with his fists clenched. While some fans are saying on dedicated forums that it would go against Robert’s character to go shirtless, others remain indifferent to the fact and just enjoy the view. A fake or not, it doesn’t really matter, fans seem to say, as long as Summit takes heed of this and comes up with something at least half as good.

Speaking of the “Twilight Saga,” Kristen Stewart has revealed in a recent interview that a fourth film is also in the making, thus bringing even more joy to the fans. A third installment, “Eclipse,” has already been announced by Summit for June 30, 2010, but no mention made of a follow-up. However, Stewart says, if the public is still interested in the film once “Eclipse” finishes its run, then it is highly likely that a fourth one will be made as well.

“We all really hope there is going to be a number four. I’m pretty confident that the fans aren’t going to all of a sudden lose interest. The only case that a fourth one wouldn’t be made is if all of a sudden people stopped caring, and I really don’t think that’s going to happen.” a confident Kristen said in a recent press interview. The reaction of the fan community to this has been, as expected, extremely good – which only comes to boost chances of the “Twilight” franchise seeing a fourth installment as well.

Keep an eye on this space to see whether the reported first poster for “New Moon” proves to be a fake or not, as well as for more details regarding the full cast, since Dakota Fanning’s involvement in it has not yet been detailed for the media.
