Robert has sold off his mansion, plans to move back to London
But that's all in the past now, since the actor has claimed that “he's done” with Hollywood. The 28-year-old has sold his mansion in the world's most famous city, for a little over 6 million and is now saying that he has no intention of ever coming back.
Radar magazine quotes him as saying that “If you are the kind of person who needs to be pushed into doing something, then Hollywood is not the right place. I think I might be done with Los Angeles. I've just realized that in the past few weeks.”
The actor claims that Hollywood has made him feel like he was on holiday
Robert describes his time in Los Angeles as feeling like a holiday, but he now says it's time to go back home to London where he belongs. The actor seems to have just realized that he's been for a long time in LA and he's itching to make a move.
“I think I need to spend more time in London, or just move around a bit more. I've been in LA for six or seven years or something and it's weird.” In that time, Robert has appeared in several movies and he's also had some pretty mediated relationship, like the one with Kristen Stewart or the one with singer FKA Twigs which is still going on at the moment.
To those who think that you need to live in Hollywood if you're an actor, Robert explains that “The more you stay there, especially as an actor, the more you think you need to be there, that you'll be missing out on something by leaving, but you are not really.”
A new life with FKA Twigs in London is the best recipe
The hunk concludes that he needs to move away since he feels like he's been on holiday since he's been 22. But seeing how he's so popular, it's hard to imagine that he's going to elicit less attention from the press when moving to London.
Recently, his new girlfriend, singer FKA Twigs, has received death threats from Twilight fans who seriously thought that Robert Pattinson would return to Kristen Stewart. When it became apparent that the actor had no intention to get back together with her, they decided to bully Twigs into leaving him.
