14 DAY TRIAL // In a few days, the hottest vampire movie of the year will finally be out in theaters all around the world. As “Breaking Dawn Part 1” is nearing release, Robert Pattinson is doing media rounds, including an interview on The Today.

That the British actor is somewhat shy is a well-documented fact, so it probably comes as no surprise hearing him say that he's had a rather tough time shooting for the upcoming film.
As fans must know, “Breaking Dawn Part 1” will finally show the wedding between unlikely lovers vampire Edward (Pattinson) and mortal Bella (Kristen Stewart), but also their honeymoon and, of course, wedding night.
As Robert puts it, though he's done plenty of love scenes so far, doing this particular one was incredibly nerve-wrecking for two reasons: it's part of the successful franchise and it will inevitably draw comparisons to co-star Taylor Lautner.
“It's not so much doing the love scene that's the nerve-wrecking part because I mean I've done a bunch of them before, but it's the fact that it's within the 'Twilight' series and so much based on – you know, Taylor Lautner, the six-pack himself,” the actor says.
In the same interview, Robert also talks about his feelings concerning the end of “Twilight.” He's already done working on them, so he must look to the future now, which fills him both with a sense of anticipation and “trepidation.”
“You have this series where you can – you know, just be in a position where you get interviewed, you're afraid of being typecast,” he says of his fears for the future.
“I wasn't afraid at all before. But, you know, it eventually seeps into you and you're going – you can't suddenly shun the audience which, you know, you've collected by doing all these movies,” Robert explains.
“And so, you know, you feel like you want to do something different, completely different but that's not the right way to go about it. It's just a strange, hard industry. I think everyone is pretty much afraid,” the British actor further says.
