Robert Pattinson, the 22-year-old British actor who caught the attention of the entire media with both his good acting and his impressive good looks, is a very dirty man. For some reason unbeknown to anyone, the actor does not like showers, therefore rarely takes one. While this would make for a very funny story, it is driving his “New Moon” co-stars mad because he stinks most of the time,

The e-zine has spoken to people who work closely with the actor on the set of the upcoming vampire film, and they all tell the same story: spending time in Pattinson’s company is not really an honor, as most of us would be tempted to believe, but a true ordeal. Reportedly, he rarely washes, which makes it so that people can sense him even when he’s not there – which is only a delicate way of saying that he stinks to high heaven.
“He stinks. I mean, it’s awful. He never showers, and it drives people on the set crazy.” an unnamed source, working with Pattinson in Vancouver on the set of “New Moon,” tells the aforementioned publication. Another one agrees in that, indeed, spending time with the much-mediated actor is tough because of his refusal to bathe. “He completely reeks.” the other spy explains, for full visual.
Of course, if true, Pattinson would not be the only “hunk” for whom, they say, shower is a foreign notion. Before him, the same rumors circulated in the media about the likes of Brad Pitt and Keanu Reeves, both of them having been granted the title of hottest man of the year by several women’s magazines all around the world. No relation between the level of hotness of one star and their affinity for water and washing products has yet been established.
Speaking of Pattinson and his good looks,
just recently, the actor admitted to being very shy and somehow overwhelmed by the attention he’s been receiving from the media and fans solely on this account. “Pattinson says he’s always been hypersensitive about being looked at, that when he was a kid and somebody’d make eye contact with him on the bus or something, he’d freak out. He’s one of those tall people who hunch, trying to disappear.”
