14 DAY TRIAL // This will definitely not help with those dating rumors: Robert Pattinson, fresh off his split from girlfriend of 3 years Kristen Stewart, and Katy Perry were spotted over the weekend in Santa Barbara, admittedly crashing a wedding rehearsal.
People Magazine reports that Tanya and John were at their wedding rehearsal this Saturday, ahead of Sunday’s big event, when they noticed the two looking on.
“‘It was extra exciting for Tanya and John,’ said a close family member of bride Tanya Mayer, 23, and groom John Ricotta, 26, whose rehearsal at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Calif., was crashed Saturday by the stars,” People writes.
The two A-listers did not mingle with guests but, as anyone can easily imagine, their presence there didn’t exactly go unnoticed either.
“They were just sitting quietly and talking, and we were on the lawn nearby. We respected their privacy,” the insider reveals for the publication.
“Pattinson and Perry appeared in the main courtyard of the ranch and watched a procession of parents and grandparents before the bride walked down the aisle,” People adds.
Katy and Robert didn’t show up again the next day, when the actual wedding took place, the same report mentions. Tanya and John are now on their honeymoon in Thailand.
As we also reported on a previous occasion, since Pattinson broke up with Stewart (again), there’s been a lot of speculation on whether the split might have been prompted by another woman in his life.
Rumor has it that, though only friends at first, Katy somehow helped open his eyes to Kristen’s cheating of last summer. The two have been dating quietly since he dumped Kristen on his birthday.
This isn’t the first time either that word gets out that the two are romantically involved.
So far though, all talk of a romance is pure speculation. Fans will only know when (and if) they decide to go public.
