14 DAY TRIAL // With Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart yet to be seen in public together since their alleged reconciliation, rumors on the actual terms of said reconciliation abound. Robert only agreed to take Kristen back after she promised to marry him, claims the latest report.
Perhaps because of the complicated story of their onscreen characters, Edward and Bella in “The Twilight Saga,” ever since they started dating, Robert and Kristen were plagued by wedding rumors.
For instance, she was always believed to be resistant to the idea, while Rob was said to be the romantic, traditional one trying to talk her into walking down the aisle with him, just like their characters in the film franchise.
It may be another instance of life mirroring art, but the two will finally be married: Robert has told Kristen that the only condition for their getting back together is to hear her say yes to his marriage proposal, writes the Daily Star.
“Rob told Kristen the only way he can forgive her affair is if she truly commits to him. Rob has been keen to marry Kristen for quite a while and he doesn’t want to get back with her unless he knows she means it for life too,” an insider is quoted as saying.
“Although Kristen broke Rob’s heart he has realized he can’t live without her. He never stopped loving her and he believes she still loves him,” adds the spy.
“He is desperate to make it work and wants to give her another chance but not unless she proves she really wants it too,” the source further says.
The heartbreak in question is the one caused by the recent cheating scandal that exposed Kristen in the worst light possible: she and Rupert Sanders, the married director of “Snow White and the Huntsman” were photographed making out in a parking lot, with rumors saying the affair probably lasted close to half a year.
“They have both talked openly about marriage before and she’s been telling him for years that she doesn’t want to rush into anything,” the same unnamed tipster dishes for the tab.
“But Kristen will do anything to get back with Rob now and one of the conditions is to discuss getting married and the future. Rob is very romantic and traditional,” adds the source.
The two are now talking about a possible wedding date and scouting for a location, the report also notes.
