Robert Pattinson Does December Issue of Vanity Fair

As much as he doesn’t like to do photospreads, magazine and television interview or, for that matter, any kind of promotional work, they say one thing is a given where Robert Pattinson is concerned: he’ll always look good in pictures. The star is now featured in a stunning spread in the December issue of Vanity Fair, PopEater informs.

One of the things that are very well known about this British young actor is that he hates the shiny, impeccable image men in Hollywood usually go for. He’s almost at all times with his hair in a wonderful mess, wearing clothes that are comfortable above everything else, and seemingly at a loss as how to behave when he notices all eyes are on him. Because of this, the VF spread also chose to go with Robert as he is, without having him play dress-up or play-pretend.

The result is a wonderful photoshoot that seems as unstaged as it seems homely. In most of the pics, Robert is seen doing nothing much besides staring at something that is out of the range of the camera. Of course, “Twilight” fans picking up the December issue of the prestigious magazine will get plenty more than just photos of their favorite actor playing their favorite brooding vampire, since the usually quiet Pattinson also agrees to shed some light on certain topics.

Among them, his relationship with co-star Kristen Stewart and how there’s no making the tabloids see the truth, namely that they’re not dating, how he’s dealing with the almost instant fame, and what he makes of his future, now that he’s literally one of the most bankable young actors in the industry. Not surprisingly, Robert still insists that he did not know what he was signing up for when he agreed to take on the part of Edward in “Twilight,” saying he’s not the right guy for a franchise because he’s “not much of a crowd person.”

As for Kristen, they’re not dating, Robert insists. “It doesn’t make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]. I’ve literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it’s like ‘Oh, they were on secret dates!’ It’s like ‘Where? I can’t get out of my hotel room!’ […] She’s influenced how I’ve done all the ‘Twilight’ stuff. It’s quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything,” Robert Pattinson says, putting the dating Kristen Stewart rumors, to rest.
