14 DAY TRIAL // Twilight fans aren't going to like the way Robert Pattinson cozies up in the new trailer for David Cronenberg's new movie “Maps to the Stars” to a woman that is not Kristen Stewart. In the movie, the young actor plays a limo driver who gets particularly feisty with Julianne Moore in a steamy scene.
In another scene, the actor can be seen making out with Mia Wasikowska, leading us to believe that he's the gigolo of the movie. The limo driver character befriends a girl (Wasikowska) who has just been released from a sanatorium where she had been treated for pyromania.
Meanwhile, Julianne Moore plays the role of a famous actress that is a client of Mia's father, by the name of Havana Segrand. Other roles in this drama are played by John Cusack, Carrie Fisher and Olivia Williams.
Basically, the movie follows the story of the Weiss family, a Hollywood dynasty that has a lot of dark secrets in its past, which all come to haunt them in the present.
For Pattison and Cronenberg, this is the second film they are collaborating on, after the 2012 movie “Cosmopolis.”
An official release date for “Maps to the Stars” has yet to be announced, but the movie is expected to arrive in cinemas across the U.S. later this year.
