Count on Robert Downey Jr. to throw a party like no other. His wife Susan Downey turned 40 over the weekend and, to celebrate, he threw her a 2-day party that included all of her best friends, who also happen to be celebrities, and a bacon cake.

Us Weekly reports that the guestlist included Robert’s “Iron Man” co-star Gwyneth Paltrow and her family, husband Chris Martin and their 2 kids, Jon Favreau, Reese Witherspoon with her family, Jason Bateman, Justin Theroux and his fiancée Jennifer Aniston, Maya Rudolph, Gwen Stefani and her family.

Everyone traveled to the San Francisco Bay Area for a weekend of fun, which included the actual birthday party in the ballroom of the hotel they were staying at and a day in the great outdoors.

The actual party included dinner, dancing, and games, while the next day kicked off with brunch and continued with games and long walks. On both occasions, RDJ had decorated the place with photos of Susan, an insider reveals for the same publication.

“The next morning, brunch was held outside with food trucks from Hapa SF and Bacon Bacon. According to the source, the menu included pancakes, breakfast tacos, omelets, burgers and breakfast sandwiches. Downey Jr. enjoyed breakfast with son Exton and Iron Man 3 costar Paltrow and her kids,” the report writes.

Clearly, not one of the female stars in attendance thought of their diets during the festivities. Paltrow, for one, is known for eating only organic foods and for being a lover of a good cleanse every now and then, so it’s hard to imagine her eating bacon and tacos or, for that matter, a slice of bacon cake.

“Keeping with the food truck brunch theme, the birthday girl was treated to a special cake made out of maple bacon, chocolate bacon, bacon bits, bacon jam and vanilla cake,” Us writes of the cake Susan received from her husband.
