Critics often say that one of the most spectacular comebacks in cinematography is that of Robert Downey Jr., who is today literally one of the most in-demand actors out there. His appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live should tell you how come he's so popular.

Aside from being the lead in “Iron Man,” Robert has a string of other projects that have generated massive interest with the fans and the critics community.
One such project is Guy Ritchie's “Sherlock Holmes” franchise, with the second film, “A Game of Shadows,” now running in theaters all over the world.
Robert was on Kimmel to promote the film and, of course, entertain audiences with his extraordinary and hilarious stories.
Thus, after saying he doesn't quite recollect the parties he went to when he was younger – because he drank too much and did too many drugs – he tackles some of the ongoing rumors.
RDJ cracks jokes about reports that he only works for 3 hours a day because he wants to have more time to spend with his wife, who is now pregnant; he also talks about being a method actor and working with the biggest Sherlock Holmes expert.
Often branded a method actor, Robert shies away from the label in his typical fashion: by making fun of it.
For instance, he says, while shooting for “Sherlock,” he didn't stay in character once the working day was over. He didn't keep the accent for when the cameras weren't rolling.
“No, I am not a method actor. I am a lazy person,” Robert laughs.
“The accent thing, I have a really great dialect coach… who just drills it into me. He speaks perfectly so when he hears me not in accent he finds it amusing but also repelling,” the actor explains.
He also recalls an incident that made the Sherlock Holmes expert almost lose his temper: Robert in character called Jude Law's Watson by his first name, John, which, we learn, is a major no-no.
