14 DAY TRIAL // Robert Downey Jr. has been hitting the talk shows pretty hard lately, promoting his latest film, “The Judge,” and also confusing the heck out of people about his participation in the “Iron Man 4” movie. Truth be told, we still don't know if he's doing that movie or not, or if there's even a sequel being planned.
The actor went on Jimmy Fallon last night, but instead of talking about the latest Iron Man film, he did a funny skit with the host of the show, that involved long-haired wigs, wind machines, and chest hair.
The two engaged in what was called an “Intense Staredown” moment, which saw them sitting atop a mountain, meditating in the snow and basically saying funny stuff in their heads. It's funny to see the men squinting at the camera and making gestures, trying to match the audio which was clearly prerecorded.
For example, Downey begins by saying some random stuff like “Osprey, I await. Pray upon my loins. Mount my torso like the bull of Poseidon.”
Later in the show, Fallon explains the segment, “Those two characters out there ... almost had a fight over Oolong tea. They actually got trapped up on that mountain and one had to eat the other. Sad ending.”
