After two trips to rehab and having his personal life become tabloid fodder, Robbie Williams is finally ready to settle down and make the relationship with Turkish-American actress Ayda Field official. Doing an interview on British talk show Loose Women, the singer admitted that marriage could be in the cards for him, as ABS can confirm.

Over the weekend, Mark Owen, also part of Take That with whom Robbie has recently reconciled for a series of special appearances as a five-member band again, got married to his fiancé. It was inevitable then that Williams be asked whether he planned to do the same while appearing on ITV’s Loose Women chat show. Strangely enough, when asked if he was thinking about proposing, Williams said that it could be a possibility, in what was a definite change from his past stand on the matter.

“Robbie Williams wants to propose to his girlfriend. The ‘Bodies’ singer admitted he is gathering the courage to ask actress Ayda Field – who he has been dating since January 2007 – to be his wife. When asked by if he plans to marry Ayda, Robbie replied: ‘I might be. It could be on the cards... yeah.’ His answer was met with cheers from the audience, to which the singer replied: ‘You’re happy that I’m happy, right?’” the aforementioned publication writes of the interview.

Moreover, it would seem that Robbie has changed his mind on several other issues, not just marriage. A visibly happier Williams revealed in the same interview that getting back with his Take That former mates, with whom he’s preparing a few special appearances to be announced soon, was definitely the highlight of his career in recent months. He also had to admit that he couldn’t remember why they had fallen out in the first place, hinting that his drug use was too out of control back then.

“I’m so glad I have sorted out my relationship with them. We sat down and did all the hard talk straight away and sorted everything out and then it was done. Gary’s just a very, very well rounded loving man. He’s special and he should be regarded as special in this country. Regarding nostalgia, I can’t remember much. Two trips to rehab will do that. But I absolutely embrace those days when it was five mates travelling around the world having a whale of a time and pre-pubescent girls screaming at us. Who have since grown up.” Robbie said.
