Recent rumors about a reunion of the legendary and deceased boy band of the '90s Take That are coming true.
Still, there might be a problem: Robbie Williams. He's always been nothing but trouble to his former boy-band mates and he continues to cause them trouble even some years after the band had split.
All the other 4 Take That members planned a special tour. And during the talks Robbie Williams, now famous and appreciated on his own said he would also join. His participation was the most necessary thing for the tour as all the other band members have fallen into oblivion after Take That ceased to exist.
But some other things came up and Robbie seems to be more the "now' kind of person than the nostalgic type. So he just announced his former singing and dancing partners that he will not attend the reunion.
Truth is he's got lots of much better things to do with his fame. Just think about the projects he's involved in: recording a dance album with Pet Shop Boys (and planning to join the chart veterans for a secret concert in London) and was recently reported to be recording a "Kylie style" dance album- to please his gay fans.
News of the World quotes a source: "Initially Robbie wanted to join the Take That boys on the tour - he was quite excited about seeing his fans again. But time just wouldn't allow it because he has too much going on at the moment. However, when the Pet Shop Boys came along and asked him to join them for their one-off gig, he jumped at the chance."
So, who needs Take That anyway?
