In a recent interview with 'The Sun', the British performer spared some time to share his opinions on acting and Hollywood with the rest of the world. Robbie is probably one of the few singers out there who haven't yet tried a career on the big screen and maybe that's why he was so bitter against it.
Basically, the former Take That said that actors need to get themselves better jobs and that they tend to make way too much big a fuss about the hardships of their profession: 'They talk about acting as if it's saving someone's life, but it's not rocket science - it's just pretending to be someone else'.
Besides not having that big screen fever that the majority of singers suffer from, Robbie admits that he doesn't even have the time to watch too many movies, especially depressing ones. 'I'm depressed enough so I don't watch any depressing films. "Schindler's List", "Brokeback Mountain", "Saving Private Ryan" - no thanks.'
'Take "Million Dollar Baby", she bites her own tongue off to kill herself at the end. If I'd have known that was going to happen, I wouldn't have watched it. You don't need that in your life', Williams said about the Oscar-winning films.
