Robbie Williams Is Very Problematic Angel in “Candy” Video

Robbie Williams is back. After a very successful run with Take That, the singer is getting back in the spotlight as a solo artist. His first single, “Candy,” has just gotten an official video.

Robbie plays a very troublesome (but quite fashionable) angel, watching over the girl the song is about.

Asked once about the message of “Candy,” the singer said it was about a woman with a too high opinion of herself.

“It’s a summer song, very much in a similar vein to Rock DJ, about a girl who thinks she’s great. And she might be, but she’s a bit nefarious with her ways,” he said.
