T-Mobile announced a special edition of the Sony Ericsson W300 walkman phone, the Robbie Williams Edition. Made in collaboration with the music singer, the handset will be released before the upcoming European Tour starting in June.

The clamshell phone bears a Robbie Williams logo on the back and offers users exclusive content related to the singer such as video clips, ringtones, wallpapers and animations. In addition, the handset gives direct access to the official WAP site of the singer through
a dedicated icon on the desktop. A video clip can be watched when the handset starts or shuts down.

The phone is a quad band MP3 player which can store about 70 songs and supports up to 30 hours of music listening. The included Disc2 phone software allows users to quickly transfer their music CDs to the phone. Other features include a camera with 4x digital zoom, FM radio and EDGE support for quick data transfer.

"Working with T Mobile is a great way to get my music and videos out there and the Walkman phone is our latest collaboration, it's great," stated Robbie Williams.

Ulli Gritzuhn, Chief Marketing Officer, T-Mobile International declared: "With the special edition W300, we are once again providing fans with a chance to personalize their mobiles with exclusive 'live' mobile music content, a never before seen video clip and photos all on one device that was creatively influenced by him."
