Robbie Williams Confirmed New Romance

Singer Robbie Williams confirmed during an interview that he has been dating a beautiful woman from Los Angeles for the past five months.

Williams, who created himself an image of a smooth womanizer, said nobody knew about his romantic relationship because he's not famous in LA.

"I've had a relationship in LA for five months that nobody knows about," the singer told hit40uk host Katy Hill.

"I've been on about 50-odd dates that nobody knows about because there isn't the network of grasses they have in the UK. They don't know who I am in LA. Or rather, they're not bothered!"

Speculation about his ambiguous sexuality and romantic life is rampant in the British media. Williams seems to encourage an image as a smooth womanizer and there are numerous widely-circulated Internet accounts allegedly written by Williams' female sexual partners extolling his considerable prowess as a lover.

A regular feature of his live performances is full-on French kisses with female fans plucked from the audience.

Much of Williams' success can be attributed to his 'cheeky chappy' persona and ironic sensibility much loved by his UK fans.

This is perhaps a major reason why Williams has failed to make any impact at all in the USA - without the irony Williams comes across as arrogant and self-aggrandizing.
