Robbert Pattinson Is the Hottest Man Alive, Says Glamour

The day has come when Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, or the much younger Zac Efron and Chace Crawford are no longer considered the crème de la crème of good looks in male Hollywood. Sure, they still make it in the top ten of women’s preferences in the UK but, in true “there can be only one” fashion, no one can beat Robert Pattinson in terms of looks, if one were to believe the latest issue of Glamour magazine.

The British actor, who has come to know almost unprecedented levels of exposure in recent months with “The Twilight Saga,” has been named the hottest man alive by the aforementioned magazine. In getting this distinction, Pattinson edged past once fierce competition from the likes of Brad Pitt, Depp and Zac Efron, the young actor and singer who, a little before “Twilight” was released, could not live a day without seeing his name in the papers.

Along with the photo of the winner also comes a quote straight from Pattinson on the importance of having been acknowledged for his good looks, or lack thereof. “Kristen [Stewart] and I have a weird connection that translated on screen in ‘Twilight’ but the hottest actor stuff doesn’t really mean anything. You have a month maybe with all this heat and hype and if you don’t capitalize on it, someone else will.” Pattinson says joking, much in his usual manner.

As for the rest of the famous guys who occupy women’s mind with their ridiculous good looks, there isn’t really much of a surprise. The 2,000 girls and young women who took part in the survey (this detail should probably explain a lot, like why Pitt came out on the final top ten positions, it is being said) were almost unanimous that Johnny Depp is the second hottest man alive, followed by Hugh Jackman, David Beckham and Brad Pitt.

Disney heartthrob Zac Efron came out on six, while George Clooney followed close behind. At number 8 in women’s preferences is “Gossip Girl” charmer Chace Crawford, while the final two positions go to Justin Timberlake and Colin Firth respectively. Back in June, People magazine released its annual list of the hottest bachelors in the industry and, as fans must remember, Robert Pattinson came last at number 10, with Chace Crawford occupying the top position.

Not true, this article is completely biased. Pattinson's name is only in the papers because of his messed up life with Stewart and his alcoholic partying. Efron still has the biggest fanbase. Period. There's no debating on that one.
